The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has leveled accusations against former Aviation Minister Hadi Sirika and his brother in connection with an alleged 19.4 billion Naira fraud within the aviation ministry.

The Sirika brothers, along with a company implicated in the scandal, are slated to face eight charges as they appear in court on Tuesday at the FCT High Court in Garki, Abuja.

The allegations stem from a deep-rooted investigation into financial irregularities within the aviation sector, unraveling a web of deceit and mismanagement.

Ahmad Sirika, the brother of the former minister, holds the dual roles of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the accused company. Furthermore, he stands as the sole authorized signatory for the company’s accounts, which are held in Zenith and Union banks.
