President Bola Tinubu has shortened his holiday trip and has returned to Nigeria (Abuja) to carry on his official duty.
He arrived the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at 6:50 PM on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.
Recall that the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, had on Monday in a statement said President had cut short his vacation to return to Abuja.
The president departed for France on September 4 for part of his annual holiday, which was initially planned to include time in the United Kingdom as well.
During his visit to Paris last week, President Tinubu held a private luncheon with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace.
The two leaders reviewed key areas of bilateral cooperation and agreed to deepen ties to promote mutual prosperity and global stability.
He said that the early conclusion of his vacation allows President Tinubu to promptly continue his work in Nigeria.
