The Kano State Government has established four new agencies to strengthen institutional frameworks and drive sustainable development.
The agencies were established after Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf signed four landmark bills into law.
The new agencies are: Kano State Protection Agency (KASPA), Kano State Signage and Advertisement Agency (KASIAA), Kano State Information and Communication Technologies Development Agency (KASITDA), and Kano State Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (KASMEDA).
The governor described the signing as a major milestone in his administration’s efforts to reform public institutions and drive economic growth.
The new agencies are expected to enhance public protection, regulate outdoor advertising, boost ICT development, and support the growth of small and medium-scale enterprises.
The agencies will play vital roles in job creation, investment attraction, and improving service delivery across various sectors of the state.
