Kogi State Auditor-General for Local Government, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo who is reportedly Governor Yahaya Bello’s anointed candidate has won the Kogi State All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial ticket ahead of the November elections.
Ododo polled 78,704 votes to clinch the party ticket after the successful conduct of the adopted Direct Primaries across the three Senatorial districts in Kogi State.
The Secretary of the Kogi State APC Primary Election Committee, Hon. Patrick Obahiagbo announced Ododo as the winner of the primaries of the ruling All Progressives Congress in the early hours of Saturday.
The Kogi State APC Candidate, Ododo will fly the party’s flag in the November gubernatorial elections.
Alhaji Muri Ajaka, the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was never in the race as he was disqualified by the court.
