A man identified as M.O.B in Sapele community of Delta state has beaten his pregnant wife, Beatrice, to death over house chores and food.
According to reports by Punch, the sad incident happened on Friday evening August 5th in the compound of Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries church, on New Road in Sapele.
It was further disclosed that the man claimed to have been angered by wife’s act of leaving home for church without doing the house chores or making any arrangement for his food.
The angered man went on to rain punches and slaps on his heavily pregnant wife which led to her collapsing at the scene.
It was said that passers-by and church members who saw what was happening, hurried to rescue her and rushed her to a nearby hospital where she was confirmed dead.
