Arsenal legend Paul Merson believes Manchester City could overtake Arsenal in the Premier League table.
Merson’s comments came after Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United on Sunday, which left the Gunners 15 points behind leaders Liverpool.
Merson expressed concern about Arsenal’s form, stating, “Arsenal are suffering now, and I think it’s a worry until the end of the season.”
He noted that Arsenal’s upcoming games are challenging and that they need to score goals to stay ahead.
Merson said on Sky Sports, “It’s started to get tight, and Man City have some nice fixtures coming up. It wouldn’t surprise me if Man City, who are currently fifth, catch Arsenal.”
