Military, DSS Rescue Female Officer Abducted, Stripped By Unknown Gunmen

The Nigerian Army in conjunction with the Department of State Services (DSS) have rescued a female officer, Lieutenant P. P. Johnson, who was kidnapped by unknown gunmen while travelling home for Christmas.

Lieutenant Johnson who hails from Abia was stripped naked by her abductors who made a video of her a day after Christmas.

The video had a background voiceover which described their location as along Enugu highway which links Port Harcourt, the Rivers capital.

The female officer had reportedly passed out on December 17 after completing the Direct Short Service Course.

Following the release of the video, the military commenced a search for the abductors around a forest bordering Enugu State and Ihube Okigwe Local Government Area in Imo State.

Truth Live News reports that the video must have assisted the security agencies in tracking the assailants as well as led to rescue of the female officer yesterday.
