Niger State Gov Debunks Rift Rumors with Deputy

Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has emphasized the strength of his partnership with his deputy, Yakubu Garba, stating that they are a team and cannot be broken.

 

The governor made this statement amid circulating rumors alleging a misunderstanding between them that could lead to the deputy governor’s resignation.

 

Bago described their relationship as collaborative leadership aimed at achieving shared goals, highlighting the importance of teamwork in driving progress.

 

“We are team, and they can’t break us. Our focus is on the goal, and we will achieve it.”

 

He urged citizens to continue supporting his administration, expressing confidence in a transformative future for Niger State.

 

Earlier, the governor reiterated his commitment to workers’ welfare, acknowledging their sacrifices and thanking them for their perseverance and faith in his administration.

 

The Nigeria Labour Congress commended the governor for implementing the N80,000 minimum wage and making strides in workers’ welfare.
