ABUJA, NIGERIA – Nigeria reaffirmed its leadership ambitions in Africa’s economic transformation at the 4th African Union MSMEs Forum held in Abuja, according to Senator John Owan Enoh, Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment.
Vice President Kashim Shettima, who represented President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, said Nigeria remains committed to shaping a competitive, innovation-driven continent through hospitality, collaboration, and knowledge exchange.
“Nigeria stands ready to lead and learn in Africa’s collective pursuit of digital innovation, inclusive financing, and market expansion,” Shettima said while delivering the president’s message.
Enoh noted that the forum’s theme, “Building Resilient MSMEs through Digital Innovation, Market Access, and Affordable Financing,” aligns with the government’s economic revival agenda and image-building strategy.
“We are determined to showcase Nigeria as a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship,” Enoh stated, adding that platforms like the AU forum spotlight Nigeria’s role in shaping Africa’s MSME landscape.
