A deadly armed robbery attack rocked APC Quarters in Suleja, Niger State, leaving one man dead.
The assault occurred at approximately 2:45 a.m. on Wednesday when hoodlums invaded Zainab Tahir Street, targeting homes in the quiet neighborhood.
Sources told Zagazola Makama that the assailants looted several android phones before fleeing the scene.
During the chaos, Haruna Buzu, a resident, was brutally struck on the head with a stone. He was rushed to the General Hospital in Suleja but was pronounced dead on arrival. His remains have been deposited at the hospital morgue for an autopsy.
Investigators recovered several items at the scene, including a laptop, torchlight, driver’s license, identity card, ATM card, and phone covers belonging to the victims.
These findings are aiding ongoing efforts to track down the perpetrators, though no arrests have been reported yet.
Authorities have called for calm and report any information that can help with the investigation.
