A passenger on board the Ibom Air flight that led to the arrest of Commy Emanson has shared his version of events, shedding light on what may have triggered the confrontation.
According to the eyewitness, identified as Tunde A. Ibrahim, the incident began when a crew member insisted that the female passenger switch off her mobile phone. Ibrahim claimed the woman explained that her phone was already in flight mode, but the crew remained adamant.
He alleged on his post on Facebook that upon landing, the crew refused to let her disembark, informing her that airport security had been called to pick her up. “In fact, they pushed the lady back on her seat for many of us to pass,” Ibrahim said, adding that the situation drew the attention of several passengers.
While his account offers a passenger’s perspective, aviation authorities have yet to comment on the specifics of the incident.
