Obi who sent his appreciation message via his verified Twitter handle disclosed that he was watching the rally from Kano state.
He tweeted, “From Kano, I am watching the OBIdients gathered in Abuja and exercising their Constitutional rights to peaceful assembly. I salute you all. I appreciate you all. God bless you all and God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. -PO”
Recall that Truthlive.net had reported that supporters of the LP presidential flag-bearer stormed the streets of Abuja in their numbers on Saturday to hold a one million man walk in solidarity with the party.
Although the March was countered by Police personnel who claimed they were yet to seek official permission to hold the rally, the leaders of the movement presented evidence of their permission from the police before embarking on the exercise.
