Former Anambra State Governor and Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, was seen today in Umuchima Town, Imo State, where he joined renowned Catholic priest and scholar, Fr. Maurice Emelu, PhD, in delivering humanitarian aid to vulnerable members of the community.

In a moment that drew admiration from many, Obi was captured personally serving food to the needy humbling himself as a “serving boy” during the outreach programme. His action sparked emotional reactions from residents, who praised his simplicity and compassion.

“He’s the kind of leader Nigeria needs not just talking, but showing it in action,” one local said. “Imagine a former governor and presidential candidate serving food like an ordinary volunteer.”

The outreach focused on providing meals and basic necessities to the most underprivileged, with Fr. Emelu and Obi both emphasizing the importance of humility, service, and care for the poor.
