An empty vault belonging to the Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has been spotted at the Ikoyi Cemetery in Lagos State.
The vault had the name of the incumbent governor of the state neatly crested on it.

Although it is unpopular in Nigeria for people to buy burial space as many see it as weird, several others feel it is not out of place since death is inevitable.
Truth Live News reports that Ikoyi Cemetery is one of many landmarks located in Ikoyi, part of the Eti Osa local government area of Lagos State.
Several prominent Nigerians such as Herbert Macaulay are interred at Ikoyi Cemetery.
A vault such the one owned by Governor Sanwo-Olu at the Ikoyi Vaults and Gardens’ the private section is well maintained, with burying cost ranging from N4 million to N10million, depending on the land size and design of the vault.

Several netizens reacted to photos of the vault online. See some reactions below:
“Victory needs preparation…He is actually prepared…. It’s a honour to be buried at such a location in Lagos.”
“Feels weird but It’s actually nice to be prepared beforehand. Whenever you feel you’re getting consumed in life, take a trip there and reflect.”
