
The vibrant city of London was aglow with love, culture, and festivity as Miss Osaremwinda Blessing Omoregie, daughter of Ambassador Dr. Elvis Omoregie, former Deputy Chief of Staff to the Edo State Government and a prominent PDP chieftain, exchanged vows with her longtime sweetheart, Mr. Choziba Henry Eze.

The joyous occasion, which spanned from a traditional marriage ceremony on Friday, July 25, to a grand white wedding on Tuesday, July 29, brought together families, friends, and dignitaries from Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and beyond in a spectacular celebration of faith, unity, and Edo heritage.

Dignitaries, including the Crown Prince of Benin Kingdom, His Royal Highness Prince Ezelekhae Ewuare, graced the occasion, showing the significance of the union within the Edo community.

The grand finale of the celebrations took place on Tuesday, 29 July 2025, at the Christ Embassy Church in Belvedere, South East London. The main hall was filled with an electric atmosphere, as friends, family, and well-wishers gathered to witness the couple’s white wedding. The ceremony, conducted with reverence and joy, was officiated by Highly Esteemed Pastor Tony Obi, Zonal Pastor of Christ Embassy, Zone 1 DSP, alongside Highly Esteemed Pastor Georgine Obi, Resident Pastor and Group Pastor of Thamesmead Group, Christ Embassy UK Zone 1 DSP.

The wedding charge was delivered by the Highly Esteemed Pastor Wale Elizabeth Akinwolemiwa, Zonal Pastor of UK Region 2 Zone 4. Meanwhile, the Highly Esteemed Pastor Uche Onubogu of UK Zone 4 DSP gave a stirring wedding sermon, inspiring the couple and attendees alike. Other notable ministers present included Highly Esteemed Evangelist Dr. Kathy Woghiren, Highly Esteemed Pastor Kemi Adeshina (Zonal Pastor, UK Zone 3 DSP), Esteemed Pastor Paul Abolade, Bishop Denson Osato Effionayi of Kingdom Culture Ministries International, Reverend Patrick and Mrs. Ruby Eggleston, and Reverend ‘Bisi Akano-Abisoye of St. Paul’s Church. Chief Osahon Airhunmwunde, Leader of APC Egor Local Government Area and Managing Director of PlayHouse Hotel in Benin City, was also present, alongside Mr. Osa Dahlton Osa Ozigbo-Esere, Managing Director of Noren Group and The Benin Art Gallery, among others.

Ambassador Dr. Elvis Omoregie, recently the Acting Chairman (Governor Liaison Officer) of Egor Local Government Council, and his wife, Highly Esteemed Pastor Soskie Omoregie, a senior pastor in Christ Embassy and head of the LoveWorld UK Band, joined the newlyweds in a vibrant dance to the soul-stirring tunes of Testimony Jaga, one of Africa’s finest gospel afrobeat musicians. Guests were treated to an array of unlimited assorted foods and drinks, creating an atmosphere of unrestrained celebration. The energy in the venue was described as truly electric, with the Edo community in London turning out in large numbers to support the couple and honour the Omoregie family.
