Ahead of the coming 2023 election, ex-president, Olusegun Obasanjo, met with the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi; and the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, in London on Thursday.

 

Recall Truthlive.net had exclusively reported that major presidential candidates, Atiku Abubakar, Tinubu, and Peter Obi, had all scheduled a meeting with Governor Wike’s camp in London, to get the Rivers to state Governor and his camp to support their candidature in the coming 2023 presidential election.

Governor Wike attended the meeting in the company of his allies including Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State; Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State; Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State and former Cross River State Governor, Donald Duke, among others.

Though details of the meeting were not yet known at press time, our correspondent gathered that it is not unconnected with the plans to work together to support the most potent candidate of all the candidates vying for the top job in Nigeria which the former President is said to be spearheading to ensure only the best is elected into office as Nigerian President in 2023.
