Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique has cautioned his team about the threats posed by key players in the Inter Miami squad ahead of their 2025 Club World Cup last 16 match on Sunday.
“I’ve seen all three of Inter Miami’s games and some previous ones, and they have that quality,” Enrique said.
“If PSG is unable to press them effectively, it will be challenging to gain an advantage.
“If we’re not able to press them, it will be difficult to pressure them,” Enrique emphasized.
The PSG coach specifically highlighted the skills of Inter Miami players like Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez, Jordi Alba, and Sergio Busquets.
“If we’re not able to take the ball away from them, things don’t look good because Busquets is still the same; Leo Messi is unique on the ball,” Enrique warned.
“Luis Suárez, you saw the last goal he scored, what a skill for managing, Jordi Alba coming in deep, he’s still the same,” Enrique added, underscoring the importance of marking these players closely.
