Rhodes-Vivour Donates N15m To Victims Of Burnt Spare Parts Market in Lagos

The Labour Party Governorship candidate in Lagos state, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour (GRV) on Wednesday, visited the shop owners whose properties were burnt during a fire mishap at Akere Spare Parts Market, in the Ajegunle area of Lagos, to sympathize with them.

During the early hours of Wednesday morning, there was a fire outbreak which destroyed items worth millions of naira in the market.

 

The Director of Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Margaret Adesey, while speaking to some newsmen, said that the cause of the fire is suspicious and will require detailed investigation.

 

Rhodes-Vivour, on his visit to the victims, donated N15 million and assured them that the market will be rebuilt to international standard when he is voted into power in the forthcoming gubernatorial election, holding on March 11.
