Former Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has urged Nigerians to come together and show president Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) the exit door in the forthcoming 2027 presidential election in the country.
He made the call when he arrived Sokoto metropolis where he was welcomed by supporters from Sokoto, Kebbi, and Zamfara states, respectively.
Tambuwal said that the current administration has nothing to offer rather than more suffering and woes.
Addressing the crowd, the former speaker of the House of Representatives criticised President Bola Tinubu and the APC-led Federal Government of Nigeria.
He accused them of pushing Nigeria into economic hardship, insecurity, and political decline.
His return attracted many party members, women groups, youth organisations and loyalists who lined the streets, chanting solidarity songs and waving banners, declaring their readiness to reclaim power from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
