Nigeria’s anti-human trafficking agency, NAPTIP has declared controversial entertainer Darlington Okoye, popularly known as Speed Darlington, wanted over serious allegations including rape, cyberbullying, and cyberstalking.
In an announcement posted on its official Instagram account on Friday, the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) called on the public to provide any information on the musician’s whereabouts.
“WANTED BY NAPTIP. Darlington Okoye, aka Speed Darlington, is wanted in connection with alleged offences including rape, cyberbullying, and cyberstalking,” the agency said.

The case gained national attention after Speed Darlington, known for his controversial online presence, claimed during a live Instagram video that he had had sex with a 15-year-old girl. Following that incident, NAPTIP invited him for questioning but said he failed to appear.
A letter from NAPTIP’s Cybercrime Response Team, signed by Head of Unit Ngamaraju Mangzha, had instructed the singer to report to the agency’s Abuja office by 9:00 a.m. on 30 May 2025, However, he did not show up.
As of Friday, Speed Darlington’s location remains unknown, and the agency has not provided further details about the ongoing investigation.
