AKAMKPA, CROSS RIVER STATE – The University of Education and Entrepreneurship (UEE), Akamkpa, will hold its first matriculation on Friday, June 6, 2025.
Registrar Dr. Gabriel O. Egbe announced the date in an internal memo released to the university community on May 23.
The event starts by 9:00 a.m. at the Matriculation Pavilion, with students’ procession beginning at 8:00 a.m.
“Lecture-free day has been approved for all freshmen to ensure full participation,” Dr. Egbe stated.
Truth Live News gathered that he instructed that screenings should begin May 26 and end May 30 across all faculties and units.
Only students who pay acceptance, school, and matriculation fees will join the ceremony, Egbe clarified in the memo.

Students must complete registration and payments by May 30 or defer or forfeit admission, the registrar warned.
Dr. Egbe welcomed new students and wished them a “very rewarding academic session” on behalf of the Vice Chancellor.
