The Super Falcons of Nigeria will hold a trophy parade in Abuja on Monday to celebrate their 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations title.

Truth Live News recalls that the team secured the championship after a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Morocco’s Atlas Lionesses on Saturday.

The players and officials are scheduled to arrive at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport in Abuja by noon on Monday.

They will be hosted later in the day at the Presidential Villa in Aso Rock by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The team will move in an open-roof bus along major districts in Abuja, displaying the iconic trophy for onlookers.

The parade route will include Airport Road, Berger Junction, Maitama, and Wuse Market, culminating at the Presidential Villa.

Fans are expected to turn out in large numbers to welcome the team, and top government officials and key stakeholders in the sports sector will also attend the reception ceremony.
