A motor apprentice whose identity has not been revealed was hospitalized after a tanker carrying 50,000 liters of Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) lost control and overturned in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The accident occurred on Wednesday at Jin-Jofes Petroleum Station on Iwo Road, with the driver and apprentice on board when the tanker tumbled.
It was learnt that no life was lost in the incident, but the apprentice sustained some injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
Chairman, Oyo State Fire Service, Hon. Maroof, when contacted, confirmed the incident.
