The Acting Chairman of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) in Katsina, Amadu Surajo has been killed by suspected terrorists.
According to reports, Surajo was killed during a raid conducted on Mai Rana village in Kusada Local Government Area of the state late on Saturday night.
It was also gathered that three others were killed in the attack, with others injured.
Surajo’s wives and daughter were also abducted in the process. One of the wives was later released.
Recall that Surajo was MACBAN state secretary and was promoted to Acting Chairman after the mysterious disappearance of the association’s former Chairman and National Vice President, Munnir Lamido in June 2024.
His body and that of the other casualties will be laid to rest according to Islamic rites.
