Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Nyesome Wike, and suspended Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, may have ended their rift after meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday, Truth Live News reports.
The meeting, which took place at the Presidential Villa, included Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly Martins Amaewhule and members of the Assembly.
Details of the meeting are still sketchy, but it signals a potential end to the rift between Wike and Fubara.
Truth Live News reports that this development comes months after President Tinubu declared a state of emergency in Rivers State and suspended Fubara and all other elected officials.
Earlier, Fubara met with Speaker Amaewhule in Abuja on Thursday, in what paved the way for the meeting with President Tinubu.
