Juventus are making another push to sign Victor Osimhen from Serie A champions Napoli this summer, after the player’s initial rejection of their interest.
Osimhen has a €75m release clause in his contract, which is valid for clubs outside Italy, but Napoli’s demand and the forward’s wage demands could be potential obstacles.
The 26-year-old striker has already rejected a lucrative proposal from Saudi club Al-Hilal and is keen to remain in Europe.
According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus will continue to pursue Osimhen despite the challenges.
Osimhen spent last season on loan at Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray, and his performance has likely fueled Juventus’ determination to sign him.
