Nigerian troops of the Joint Task Force successfully repelled a daring pre-dawn attack by Boko Haram insurgents on a military base in Waga Village, located in Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

According to intelligence sources cited by Zagazola Makama, the assault took place around 3:30 a.m. on Friday when suspected terrorists stormed the base. The troops mounted a swift and decisive response, forcing the attackers to flee into the night.

“There were no casualties among security personnel or residents of the community,” the sources confirmed, adding that the situation in Waga Village has returned to normal following the encounter.

The successful defense underscores the resilience of the Joint Task Force in countering insurgent threats in the region.
