Barcelona were left reeling and unable to regain control of the match as a result of the rapid two goals in four minutes by L. Hernandez and L. Sane after the break.

Bayern continued to dominate play from that point on, with Barca just managing to generate the occasional chance here and there, and they continued to coast to a victory that puts them at the top of Group C!

According to Truthlive.net correspondent who monitored the match, Bayern’s offense was great, but their defense held Barcelona at bay for the whole of the second half.

Bayern currently lead Group C with six points from six available after two games, and with 2-0 victories over their two closest rivals, unseating them will be difficult.

Barca however drop to second, ahead of Inter on goal difference, but it wasn’t a joyous return to the Allianz for Lewandowski, who was shut down at every turn by Upamecano.
