NIGERIA, CALABAR – The University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) has announced the successful migration of all outstanding and backlog results to the institution’s official result portal.
In a notice signed by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Stella-Maris Okey, and circulated on social media on Monday, students were directed to log into their portals to verify their academic records.
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor said the update followed a comprehensive review and upload process intended to resolve long-standing result delays affecting several departments across the university.
Prof. Okey advised students to check for accuracy and report any discrepancies immediately to their respective Heads of Department (HODs) for proper documentation and onward processing.

She explained that the complaints process was necessary to ensure transparency, fairness, and accountability in result verification, especially for students affected by missing or incomplete records.
The notice warned that the final list of students without outstanding results would soon be forwarded to the Senate for approval, marking the end of the regularisation process for the affected academic sessions.
According to the statement, the university considers the directive important because it aims to prevent delays in graduation, mobilization for national service, and issuance of academic transcripts.
The circular, addressed to all students, Examination Officers, HODs, and Deans, stressed the need for prompt compliance to avoid complications during Senate consideration.
Students have reacted on social media, with many expressing relief at the development, while others described the directive as overdue given previous concerns over delayed result uploads.
UNICROSS management assured stakeholders of its commitment to improving academic administration and strengthening ethical procedures in result processing.
