It will seem Osun State governor, Ademola Adeleke, can’t put aside his dancing shoes despite court suit challenging his electoral victory and stay in office after a memo from office of the state’s head of service indicates that a Valentine Day celebration is in the offings where the governor would preside as father of the day.
The Memo, a copy of which Truth Live News is privy to, also indicates that the occasion is meant for the entire Public servant.
Signed by a certain N. Akintola in acting capacity for the head of service, the event is meant to hold on 14, at White House Car Park, Abere.
Aside Dancing Competition, the event also plans to feature Table Tennis, Draught, Ayo Olopon, Ludo, Dressing Parade, Questions and Answers among others.
“Consequently, Public Servants who are interested in the above games are to register with Comrade Agboola and Comrade Semiu,” official missive indicated while also listing the officers numbers.
“The Executive Govermor, Osun State, His Excellency, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke is the Father of Love for the day while the Head of Service is the Chief Host
“I am to request all Accounting Officers of Ministries, Departments and Agencies and Heads of non-Ministerial Agencles including Local Government as well as Local Council Development Authorities are requested to comply and give the content of this Circular wide publicity among their Staff,” the letter read.
Governor Adeleke on resumption embarked on gale of sack of government workers saying there was paucity of funds to pay such workforce.
