Supporters of Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, have claimed that some thugs believed to be supporters of the All Progressive Congress APC, attacked them with machetes, on their way to the venue for the party’s mega rally, holding today.
Truth Live News gathered that some armed men began the attack on the LP supporters, breaking their windscreens, collecting their phones and leaving others with machete wounds of various degrees.
As at the time of filing this report, the number of suspected attacks have increased and medical personnel at the Tafewa Balewa Square, the venue of the rally, already have their hands full at trying to attend to the injured persons.
