TIANJIN, CHINA – The 16th Annual Meeting of the New Champions (AMNC25) will convene from June 24 to 26 in Tianjin, China, to address global economic uncertainties through entrepreneurship-driven strategies, according to the World Economic Forum.

Held under the theme “Entrepreneurship for a New Era”, the meeting will spotlight the role of innovation in reviving economies shaped by rapid technological shifts, geopolitical tensions, and climate imperatives.

Børge Brende, President of the World Economic Forum, emphasized that “entrepreneurial solutions are essential in navigating this era of disruption,” stressing that agility and creativity are now non-negotiable for sustainable growth.

More than 1,700 global leaders including founders, CEOs, ministers, and academics from over 90 countries will attend the event aimed at forging cross-sector partnerships for inclusive economic transformation.

Situational ethics emerge as a central consideration, as participants are urged to adopt growth models that balance profits with social responsibility, climate resilience, and long-term human development.

The Forum reports that Asia, which now contributes nearly 60% of global GDP, is a strategic location for this dialogue, underlining China’s push toward “new quality productive forces” led by tech-driven industrial upgrades.

With global economic growth forecasted at only 2.8% this year by the IMF, AMNC25 explores whether entrepreneurship can serve as a reliable engine to accelerate recovery and ensure equitable development.

Direct investment in people and planet is a core topic, as less than 20% of global sustainability goals are on track. Delegates will debate how innovative business models can close this alarming gap.

“Entrepreneurship must not just be about disruption, but construction of value, trust, and opportunity,” said Li Qiang, China’s Premier, in a preparatory statement that reinforced the human-centric mission of the meeting.

Private-sector investment in technology is expected to hit $5.6 trillion in 2025. Forum analysts warn that unless ethical frameworks are embedded, growth could widen inequality instead of closing it.

Delegates will examine disrupted industries, rising energy demands, and the shift from export-led growth to services, all while searching for scalable, inclusive, and clean solutions grounded in entrepreneurial ingenuity.

Truth Live News reports that by focusing on innovation with integrity, AMNC25 positions entrepreneurship as the most potent tool for building resilient economies and societies that serve both current and future generations.
