Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, has stated that school fees abroad are more expensive than those in Nigeria.
Olawande made this assertion during a panel session on Channels Television, where he played the impact of President Bola Tinubu’s policies.
The minister urged young Nigerians to conduct thorough research rather than following trends.
He praised the President’s initiative to provide student loans through the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), describing it as a focus on the future.
According to Olawande, the President’s plan ensures that students can access education without financial burdens and later repay the loan after securing employment.
He noted that many countries that young Nigerians aspire to migrate to have more expensive school fees.
