The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially announced that the 2025 Batch A Stream II Orientation Camp will commence on June 11, 2025, across 37 NYSC orientation camps nationwide.
This announcement comes just after the conclusion of the Batch A Stream I orientation course, which ended on May 13, 2025.
Prospective corps members are advised to regularly check the NYSC’s official social media handles for updates and directives to stay informed about the orientation program.
Truth Live News reports that the orientation course is designed to equip graduates with essential training and activities to prepare them for their service year.
The three-week orientation period, Truth Live News can confirm, always include a range of activities such as military drills, leadership training, lectures on national values, community development initiatives, and skills acquisition programs.
This is even as Corps members will also be briefed on security awareness and proper conduct throughout their service year.
To prepare for the orientation camp, NYSC advised that prospective corps members should begin checking the NYSC portal for call-up letters, arranging for travel, and ensuring all required documentation is complete.
The NYSC management assured stakeholders that adequate preparations are underway to ensure a smooth and successful orientation exercise.
