Victor Boniface has appealed to Nigerians for patience as he struggles to find the back of the net for the Super Eagles.
Truth Live News reports that Boniface is yet to score for Nigeria in 12 appearances, despite his impressive form for Bayer Leverkusen, where he has scored 11 goals this season.
The 24-year-old recently scored in Bayer Leverkusen’s 3-1 victory over Bochum on Friday night.
Boniface took to his Instagram story to reassure Nigerian supporters, requesting patience and assuring them that his first Super Eagles goal will come.
“Nigerians please be patient with me, the goal will come,” Boniface posted, seeking to calm concerns about his international goal drought.
