A former member of the Edo State House of Assembly, Chief Hon. Ezehi MD Igbas KSJI has resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Citing the protracted imbroglio bedeviling the Edo State Chapter of the party, occasioned by the disagreement between the State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, and the National Vice Chairman of the Party, Chief Dan Osi Orbih as the main reason for e leaving, the former SA to the Governor however ever wished the party well.

The resignation letter exclusively sent to truthlive.net, addressed to the National Chairman of the Party, through his ward 9 chairman reads: “I hereby resign from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and renounce my membership”.

“I wish the party well and I am incredibly thankful to the party for the opportunity to serve in a variety of capacities in the past”.

When our correspondent tried to make further inquest as to why the decision, the former member of the Edo state house of Assembly who represented constituency 2 said: “My reasons are clearly stated in my resignation letter sent to your email, please check.”
