Many persons have reportedly lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident that occurred today, Thursday February 9, 2023 on the popular Kara Bridge, along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The accident happened when a Toyota Corolla car, a Sienna, a Toyota Matrix car and one 18-seater bus belonging to GUO motors and a trailer collided.
Many eye witnesses said the GUO bus was outbound Lagos when the trailer which apparently failed brake, collided with the above named vehicles which eventually led to the Matrix skidding off the bridge.
It has not been ascertained how many occupants of the cars were involved in the horrific accident but the lifeless body of a hawker who was a victim of the crash, laid on the road.
As at the time of filing this report, Lagos state rescue team and officials of the Federal Road Safety Corp FRSC, where at the scene of the accident, making efforts to rescue the casualties.
