The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) under Operation Hadin Kai has successfully foiled a terrorist attack in Borno State through precision airstrikes.
Acting on credible intelligence, NAF aircraft targeted terrorist structures at Tumbumma Baba and Chiralia in southern Tumbuns, delivering direct hits and crippling planned attacks aimed at disrupting Eid celebrations.
According to the statement, the airstrike neutralised several terrorists and destroyed key logistics structures during the operation.
“Acting on credible intelligence, NAF aircraft targeted terrorist structures reportedly used for storage and coordination, delivering direct hits and crippling planned attacks aimed at disrupting Eid celebrations,” Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relation and Information, stated.
“This pre-emptive action,” according to Ejodame, “underscores the Nigerian Air Force’s commitment to safeguarding civilian lives and supporting national security objectives.”
