The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Edo State chapter has said plans have reached the feverish stage for the Party’s Congress to elect Local Government Area (LGA) Party Chairmen and Executive Committee members, and one National Delegate from each of the 18 Local Government.
The party said the exercise would hold tomorrow, Saturday, September 20, 2025.
This was disclosed in a press statement signed by Chris Nehikhare, State Publicity Secretary, Caretaker Committee of the party and made available to newsmen in Benin, the state capital.
Nehikhare who said that the congress will take place simultaneously at all PDP Local Government Secretariats across the state as from 8.00am, said that all delegates, aspirants, and party members are enjoined to participate actively, and to conduct themselves in an orderly and peaceful manner throughout the exercise.
He stressed that the party reaffirms its commitment to a transparent, credible, and constitutionally guided process.
