The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, led a delegation on a final inspection tour of several major projects in Abuja ahead of their commissioning.

Wike expressed gratitude to God for granting him the strength to oversee the delivery of these vital projects, and thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his support.

The Minister attributed the successful completion of the projects to visionary leadership, clear goals, and firm commitment, stating, “Once you are focused on your objectives and committed to them, results will follow.”

He stressed the importance of clear direction in overcoming bureaucratic challenges, saying, “When you sit down with people and you let them know that this is what you want to achieve and you are not going to accept anything less than that, they will key in.”

Truth Live News reports that the tour included inspections of the renovated International Conference Centre, Arterial Road N5, and Arterial Road N16, among others.

Wike commended contractors for delivering within stipulated standards, saying, “We have personally supervised these projects to ensure compliance and quality.”

He announced that the newly developed event centre would be maintained by the construction company, Julius Berger, and that local staff have been trained to manage the technology and operations.

The Minister assured residents that operations would commence immediately after the official commissioning this week.
