Atletico Madrid Battle Premier League Clubs for Nigerian Midfielder Uche

Spanish football giants Atletico Madrid are set to battle Premier League sides for the signature of Nigerian midfielder Christantus Uche, following an impressive season at Getafe, BSNSports news report.

The 22-year-old Super Eagles prospect played a key role in helping Getafe maintain their La Liga status, contributing four goals and six assists under coach Jose Bordalas.

According to reports, English clubs Bournemouth, Newcastle United, and Aston Villa have shown strong interest in Uche. Getafe president Angel Torres has reportedly valued the midfielder at around €20 million.

However, Atletico Madrid are keen to keep the rising star in Spain and are prepared to activate his €25 million buyout clause to secure the deal and fend off competition from the Premier League.

Uche’s performances this season have made him one of the most sought-after young talents in European football, with clubs eager to bring his energy and creativity into their midfield ranks.
