Rio Ferdinand Hails Man United’s Signing Of Cunha

Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has expressed excitement over the club’s signing of Matheus Cunha, praising the arrival of the midfielder.

Cunha, who was Wolves’ top goalscorer this season with 16 goals in all competitions, is a player Ferdinand had previously mentioned on his shopping list.

The former centre-back said that Cunha’s experience in the Premier League means he won’t require adaptation time, making him a valuable addition to the team.

Ferdinand also called on Manchester United’s hierarchy to add more players to the team, particularly those who can score goals in open play.

He noted that the team’s attack needs a reboot, with Bruno Fernandes and Amad Diallo being the primary goal-scorers in open play.

Truth Live News reports that Ferdinand’s comments come as Manchester United is reportedly considering other signings, including Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP and Victor Osimhen, the Nigerian international who has also attracted interest from Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal.
